About Us

The gallery is located in a landmark historic building on the busy Bedminster Parade in Bristol. With a variety of Exhibitions always on offer, the chance to relax with a cup of fair-trade coffee or pick up beautiful unique gifts from our shop, The Grant Bradley Gallery has a lot to offer its visitors.

The gallery has 2400 square foot of space and a mezzanine level providing an additional 300 square foot.

Our aims

The Trustees have taken a lease on the gallery for the purpose of promoting the following aims and ambitions:

To promote dialogue and understanding of different cultures and religious beliefs through the appreciation of art.

To promote education through art for people of all ages.

To be a centre for cultural exchange of art and ideas.

To bring world class art to local communities.

To promote the work of local artists.

The Gallery will be dedicated to the memory of Peter Bradley, Rev Gregory Grant�s former business partner and co-founder of the The Grant Bradley Charitable Trust. Peter died of a brain tumour in 2004. His widow, Fiona, is now a director of The PG Group.


Our History

Originally a gift to the city as a library by George Wills in 1914, this new use for the building will continue to provide public access at no charge. The restored premises are part of the recently completed St Peter�s Court complex developed by The PG Group which includes a new library, Doctors surgery, 87 apartments, a restaurant, retail and office space. With the Asda superstore on one side and the new library on the other, the gallery will benefit from a public car park only 50 meters away providing free parking for up to 500 cars.
