'Silent Songs' - Nic Dartnell
28th July - 28th August 2007 Nic's artwork (Silent Songs) draws on influences from a variety of cultures. He readily admits to finding it as easy to identify with poets and musicians as with visual artists. During the 1990s he produced a series of paintings for a book about Jimi Hendrix and created an exhibition of portraits of children, from the urban community, where he was living : Children of the Future.
